About us
supportworkersfordisabilities.com.au is an independent service that connects NDIS participants, families and support coordinators with registered disability support workers who have space for new clients. It's free to use, and we're not a provider or part of the NDIS.
Why we started
Finding a support worker who can start soon often means ringing around provider after provider. We do that part. You tell us what's needed once, and we connect you with a registered provider near you who has space.
We also write plain-English pages on how disability support works under the NDIS, from personal care to what it actually costs and supported independent living. Every page is checked against the NDIS Commission's own rules and the published price limits, and links to them.
Who we are
supportworkersfordisabilities.com.au is run by a small team with a background in digital services and in working with NDIS providers.
How we're paid
Providers pay us for introductions. That's what keeps the service free for you. It doesn't change what you're charged, and the NDIS pricing rules still apply. More on how it works.
